One of these is by The 5 Canadians, who were from Texas, and another from The Royal Guardsmen, who were from Florida. When their novelty record Snoopy vs. The Red Baron became an unexpected huge hit, there was no Canadian licensing agreement between Peanuts creator Charles Schulz and the song publisher, so the band recorded new vocals for Canada, substituting the word Snoopy with Squeaky and the Red Baron with the Black Knight.
