Mining the Charts - Billboard's Hits of the World supplement for Autumn 1966

This is becoming less and less interesting as we move forward through the 60s. There are, however, several records worthy of being added to the Mining the Charts folder.

4 records from the Irish Top 10, but the only one I added is Doc Carroll's "Far Away From You".

5 records from Malaysia & Singapore. Blue Eyes by The Blue Comets was released in America by Epic. I believe The Victorians were an American act with ties to former Four Seasons members or something. The b-side of American country singer Jeannie Seely's hit Don't Touch Me, a song called You Tied Tin Cans To My Heart, was a hit in Malaysia and Singapore, but I was unable to track down a copy of it.

There are a few records from Holland by the usual suspects: Q '65, The Outsiders and the Golden Earrings.

There is only 1 from South Africa this time around, and that is by British singer Guy Darrell.

That leaves one from Greece by a young lady calling herself Tammy.
