I shared the bulk of this collection on one or two of the other blogs a few years back, but it was incomplete at that time. First pieced together in the early days of the current century using what information was available at that time, I later tweaked it using the discography in the Little Walter biography Blues With A Feeling and with the first version of the Blues Discography which came out about 13 years ago now.
I shared this with an old friend and he thought five more tracks (as of now) should be added so that is what the bonus Vol. 11 is. He also has the new updated version of the Blues Discography which I have not yet purchased. I wasn't aware that some of these tracks existed. If you download it he is in the Vol. 11 front photo not shown here. When you have a 55 year old photo of yourself hanging out with Little Walter, both about ready to jump into your car and go fetch some grub, you have a lot of cred. About 15½+ hours of music.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm working on some projects, trying to track down and tie up some loose ends. Hopefully I'll do some new posts within a couple weeks or so. The main problem is I reside in eternal summer and there is always a lot going on and to do. There isn't much interest in this stuff so it usually takes a back seat to other activities.
