Lost TV comedy 11
Father, Dear Father was a UK sitcom that had a long run from Nov. 1968 to Feb. 1973. At the end a feature-length film was produced, something that was common for popular UK sitcoms in the early 70's. About 5 years later the two main stars of the show headed for Oz where it was revived for an additional 14 episodes in 1978. That time around, instead of doing battle with his two daughters, "Father" was caring for his pommy brother's daughters while he was away for an extended period. The complete UK series has been commercially available for about 10 years now. Apparently, the Australian series was issued on a pseudo-legal release at one time, but as with Doctor Down Under, it quickly disappeared from availability. I don't know if it's because the people speaking are actors, but it's interesting to hear the Australian accent of 40 years ago, which was much milder with little of the vowel-drawls you hear today.
