Going further into 1966 this Hits of the World thing is getting to be a bit disappointing.
First of all, there are only 21 tracks, not 23. I can't be bothered to go back and make that correction since there are only 3 or 4 people that download this.
There are 9 tracks from Ireland, 5 tracks from Holland, 3 from Sweden, 2 from South Africa, and 1 each from Denmark and Hong Kong........and the one from Hong Kong is by Californians Bruce & Terry, their release of "Come Love", which did nothing in the USA but went Top 10 in Hong Kong. Also, one of the Holland tracks is from British singer Dave Berry.
Personally, I only added these tracks to my own Mining the Charts Spring 1966 folder:
Above and Beyond - Houston Wells & The Premier Aces (Ireland)
Come Love - Bruce & Terry {USA} (Hong Kong)
For You Babe - June Muscat (South Africa)
I Know - Les Baroques (Holland)
If You Leave Me - The Golden Earrings (Holland)
If You Wait For Love - Dave Berry {UK} (Holland)
Love Was On Your Mind - Ola & The Janglers (Sweden)
My Heartache's Got Heartaches - The Jack Ruane Band (Ireland)
Such A Cad - Les Baroques (Holland)
Wedding - The Hep Stars (Sweden)
You're The Victor - Q '65 (Holland)
and took a pass on the other ten. The Fly by Brendan Bowyer is a good rocker, but sounds more like Spring 1962 than 1966.
